FAQs
What makes this product better than other products on the market?
- You can use your existing diamond stones, if you wish. No extra proprietary parts sold here.
- The patent pending spine positioning guide ensures your blade remains parallel to the surface during the entire sharpening process, removing guesswork and inconsistencies.
- The double sided spine positioning guide on the Vise enables blades of all sizes to be securely fastened
- The Grindstone's freely rotating diamond stone adapts to any setup: rotate horizontal for long, efficient strokes with the stone safely between you and the blade—protecting your fingers. Or use vertically for quick, finishing touches.
How do I use this product?
- Attach your knife to the correct side of the vise. Pick the side that matches your knife size or whatever feels most comfortable to you.

- Bring the grindstone to the blade and move it back and forth smoothly.
- Keep going until the edge feels right, usually around 20 passes.
- Remove the knife and repeat the process on the other side.
- Give the blade a quick inspection to make sure you’re happy with the finish.
